Description
Vintage door (or casement window) plain bearing hinge Salvaged from a 1920s bungalow. McKinney brand. Cannonball Ball Tip. Square edge. The pin is not wanting to be removed by hand at the moment. But i haven't gone to heroic efforts to get it out. Usually, a clamp and some tapping with hammer and wedge will do it, but you be the judge. Size is 3 1/2 In. Material is Steel with original patina in condition shown. You will get exactly this hinge inventoried as #32. The final image shows what the hinge can look like with a little elbow grease once you remove the original brass electroplating. This natural steel finish holds up surprisingly well without rusting here in central Virginia.
